Fertile Thoughts Unlock the Mind-Body Connection to Support Fertility
Jun 17, 2026
Fertile Thoughts was conceived 13 years ago while I was still deep in the trenches of infertility, IVF and loss. I started writing about the mind-body techniques that were changing the way I thought about my fertility, my body and myself.

I turned that first draft into The Embrace Fertility Method® course that I still run to this day. A method which has evolved over the past decade to be the blueprint that leads my clients from despair, anxiety and overwhelm to calm, clarity and renewed hope while going through infertility, IVF and pregnancy loss.
After going on to conceive both of my children naturally after four rounds of fertility treatment and a miscarriage and adding the subconscious clearing work to The Embrace Fertility Method® I kept hearing the same thing from the women I worked with: I wish someone had told me this sooner.
So now I'm sharing a condensed version of my method. This is the book I was yearning for right at the start of my own journey.
Fertile Thoughts: Unlock the Mind-Body Connection to Support Fertility and Restore Hope, publishes on 9th October 2026, the first day of Baby Loss Awareness Week.
That timing matters to me. So much of the fertility conversation skips straight past loss, as if grief and hope can't sit in the same sentence. They can. They do, for so many of us. I wanted this book to publish in that exact week, on purpose, because pregnancy after loss deserves its own space and its own language, not an afterthought tucked into a general fertility chapter.
Why the mind-body connection?
If you've been trying to conceive for any length of time, you already know that fertility isn't just a physical process. It's emotional, it's relational, it's exhausting, and it changes the way you move through the world. What's less talked about is how much your nervous system, your subconscious beliefs and your emotional state are quietly shaping your physical experience of trying to conceive, whether you're doing it naturally or with the support of fertility treatment.
Fertile Thoughts is built around that connection. It's not about positive thinking or pretending everything's fine. It's about understanding the very real, very researched relationship between stress, the nervous system, and fertility, and giving you practical tools to feel calmer, safer, and more like yourself again while you're in it.
What's inside
The book is organised into two parts, the first introduces the science and studies behind the mind-body link and how that impacts our fertility. In part two I guide you through the pillars of my method, each one building on the last. Think of it as a path through the emotional landscape of trying to conceive, from the moment things feel overwhelming through to the moment you start to feel hopeful and held again.
Comfort
- How to soothe your mind and body
- Cultivating calm in the two-week wait
Coping
- How to embrace your emotions and overcome worry
- Coping with other people's pregnancies
Connecting
- Making confident decisions around your fertility and treatments
- How to help your partner, family and friends understand how you feel
Clearing
- Emotional blocks to conception and how to uncover them
- Releasing fears and limiting beliefs around pregnancy and motherhood
Creating
- How to hold onto hope while trying to conceive
- How to use the mind-body link to enhance your fertility
Every chapter is written the way I work with clients in the room: warm, direct, and grounded in what actually helps, not platitudes.
More than a book
Fertile Thoughts also includes bonus video lessons and powerful hypnosis MP3s, designed to soothe your mind, calm your body, and gently rewire your subconscious to support fertility, healing and pregnancy. The idea is simple: reading about regulating your nervous system is useful, but actually experiencing that regulation is what creates change. The audio and video content shared within The Fertile Thoughts App lets you do both.
Who this book is for
Fertile Thoughts is for anyone trying to conceive who feels like their mind is working against them. Whether you're at the very start of your fertility journey, deep into IVF, navigating pregnancy after loss, or quietly carrying the weight of secondary infertility, this book meets you where you are. You don't need to believe in anything in particular. You just need to be tired of feeling like fear is running the show.
