My Personal Story

At nineteen, I was diagnosed with endometriosis, following excruciating periods and pain during sex. I was told extremely bluntly that having children may not be possible for me. So it was there from my teens, the threat of a childless life.

My husband and I started trying for a baby shortly after we got married. I had always believed that if you worked hard, stayed positive, and did all the “right” things, life would unfold.

But month after month - nothing.

After 20 months of trying to conceive and a failed fertility treatment cycle, I hit rock bottom. I was signed off work with severe anxiety and depression caused by infertility. I was having daily panic attacks. I was exhausted, frightened, and completely overwhelmed by the feeling that my body was failing me.

I knew something had to change. That was when I discovered the mind-body connection. I began to understand that while infertility was the circumstance, it was the fear, hyper-vigilance, stress, and constant mental survival mode that were keeping me trapped emotionally.

My husband and I conceived both of our ginger children naturally following 4 unsuccessful rounds of fertility treatment, surgery, and miscarriage

That journey changed everything - not just how I viewed my own fertility, but the work I now do in the world.

My Expertise

For over a decade, I’ve supported women through conception, IVF and pregnancy using gentle, evidence-informed mind-body techniques including:

  • Fertility hypnosis

  • Subconscious reprogramming

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Trauma-informed tools for anxiety and loss

My work focuses on the often-ignored emotional impact of long-term trying to conceive - the grief, fear, helplessness and quiet heartbreak — and on teaching practical techniques that reduce stress, restore emotional balance and significantly improve both wellbeing during fertility treatment and pregnancy success rates.

Through my signature Embrace Fertility Method®, I support women globally to regulate their nervous systems, clear subconscious fear patterns, rebuild trust in their bodies, and create the emotional safety needed for conception, pregnancy, and birth.

Because fertility is never just physical.

With conversations around women’s health becoming louder - from IVF access debates and miscarriage awareness to workplace fertility support and the mental health impact of infertility - there is a huge need to talk about what so many women experience behind closed doors:

Why do so many women feel like their body is “failing” them?
Why does stress feel impossible to switch off when trying to conceive?
Why are women still left unsupported emotionally during fertility treatment?
And why are we still treating fertility as purely physical when science tells us otherwise?

Praise for Fertile Thoughts

"I used the 'Yes Please' method at the grocery store. For some reason there were several pregnant women and women with babies at the store that day…everywhere I turned I saw another baby.  I was so triggered I could feel the rage starting to rise in my chest.  So I started saying 'yes please' and smiling. Instead of getting in my car and crying I felt lighter and like I was creating space in my body instead of shutting down. It felt like a game that made me happy!  And it truly worked!"   - Mary Beth

Praise for Naomi Woolfson

"The Embrace course is changing the way I feel about myselfNaomi is making me see myself the way the people I love see me." - Ana

"The shift I’m already feeling in only 4 weeks is amazing. I would highly recommend seeking support if you feel like your mind is consumed with fertility struggles and you want to be the person you used to be." - Yssie

"The first session was like magic. I couldn’t believe how quickly it helped me. Beforehand I just couldn’t stop thinking about infertility." - Debbie

"I feel calmer and feel like I've gained more control of my thoughts and feelings. It is possible to reframe my thinking in a way that feels authentic, believable and helpful." - Dannika

“Naomi’s talk was deeply impactful and delivered with such compassion. She has a rare gift for connecting with an audience and leaving them genuinely changed.” - Sophie Fleming, Regional Director, The Athena Network

Long Bio

Naomi Woolfson is a trauma-trained cognitive hypnotherapist, nervous system specialist and the founder of The Embrace Fertility Method® - a globally recognised mind-body approach to fertility support that has helped hundreds of women feel calmer, clearer and more empowered on their path to parenthood.

With 13 years of clinical experience, Naomi works with clients across the world through one-to-one therapy and coaching, and leads her signature 12-week online group programme built around the five pillars of her method: Comfort, Coping, Connection, Clearing and Creating. Her work sits at the intersection of subconscious rewiring, nervous system regulation and emotional healing - drawing on cognitive hypnotherapy, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), NLP, mindfulness and Compassionate Trauma Repair to address the psychological and energetic dimensions of fertility that conventional medicine so often overlooks.

Naomi's expertise is not simply professional - it is profoundly personal. She and her partner spent almost four years navigating infertility, IUIs, IVF, anxiety, surgery and a miscarriage before going on to conceive both of their children naturally. That lived experience shapes everything she does, and is the reason her clients consistently describe her work as unlike anything else they have encountered on their fertility journey.

Alongside her one-to-one and group work, Naomi offers specialist support for high-anxiety pregnancy after loss, runs birth trauma release sessions, and delivers the hypnobirthing programme Embrace Bump to Baby. She is the host of the Embrace Fertility Podcast - a trusted resource offering emotional support and practical mind-body techniques to women trying to conceive - and is a sought-after speaker and media contributor on the psychological and subconscious dimensions of fertility.

Naomi's debut book, Fertile Thoughts: Unlock the Mind-Body Connection for Fertility and Pregnancy, publishes on 3rd October 2026. Practical, compassionate and science-backed, it guides readers through ten of the most common emotional challenges of trying to conceive - from managing anxiety and processing grief, to clearing subconscious blocks and rebuilding hope - and includes four video lessons and three bespoke hypnosis MP3s. It is the distillation of over a decade of clinical work, her own journey, and an unwavering belief that the mind is one of the most powerful fertility tools we have.

Naomi is based in Oxfordshire and works with clients globally online.
