The biggest transition

The physical, emotional, hormonal and social transition of becoming a mother is known as 'matrescence'. This is often the most significant transition of a women's life.

During this time, like adolescence, you experience a whole body transformation and can experience a loss of identity as you figure out who you are becoming. This is intensified if you have been trying to conceive for an extended period of time.

Going through fertility challenges can affect your mental wellbeing.  Even once you have your baby the ripple effect of having been through infertility and treatment can play on into motherhood. Having personalised, specialist fertility, pregnancy, birth and support once you step into motherhood can help you weather these stages.

Creating a life that you love once you are a mother is a process you need to take an active role in. I can support you to do this with powerful therapy and coaching techniques and ongoing care and support.
